DreamLeague 25 Grand Final Postponed to March 4 Due to DDOS Attack
DreamLeague Season 25 organizers have announced the postponement of the tournament's grand final.
The decisive best-of-5 series was set to conclude on Sunday, but during the fourth map, with the series score at 2:1 in favor of Team Spirit, Larl and Collapse encountered technical issues and were forced to disconnect from the server.
The organizers attempted to resolve the situation but reported a DDOS attack on the players, which prevented Team Spirit from continuing the match with a full roster. In an official statement, the club explained that the DDOS attack was made possible due to a vulnerability on the Dota 2/Steam side.
DreamLeague Season 25 administrators decided to reschedule the grand final for March 4. The series will resume with Spirit leading 2:1 by maps, but the fourth game will be restarted from scratch.
